Horizon implements strict quality checks as per the internal quality assurance procedure and Inspection Test Plan (ITP). The quality department functions independently of manufacturing departments.
All certificates as per EN 10204 Type 3.1 and 3.2 are only signed and issued by a fully trained and competent QC Engineer who has the capabilities to assess, review and co-relate material with the material test certification and check with appropriate specified material standards. This QC Engineer is independent of production or other manufacturing departments, but is familiar with material codes, mandatory and supplementary testing requirements, mechanical and chemical properties and selection of material. The engineer engages with, co-ordinates, and performs tests in presence of external inspection agencies and/or customer's representatives. Documents are signed jointly in accordance with contractual requirements.
